Jenna started playing violin at age 8. She couldn’t put it down, and has played ever since. Starting with Suzuki and classical training, she eventually started playing in bands, in various styles, fiddle, jazz, rock, and more. Now, she plays in her band in Asheville, NC, offers her skills as a session musician, and teaches private lessons both in voice, violin, and in singer-songwriter individual lessons and coaching. She also teaches at the French Broad River Academy, in their music program. In her private lessons, she uses a mixture of various teaching styles, emphasizing the joy and beauty of music, and each person’s individual approach to learning and enjoyment.
